On Thursday, 25 July 2024, the day had finally come: Our CITO team enthusiastically participated in the 12th B2Run in Nuremberg! The 6.1 km long route around the attractive Dutzendteich district and the almost ideal weather conditions motivated us to do our best.
The starting gun went off in the early evening hours and the atmosphere was great. We started together and were cheered and applauded by the crowd along the way. Every kilometre was a highlight and pushed the team still further.
The highlight of the run was undoubtedly the finish in the impressive Max-Morlock Stadium. The feeling of crossing the finish line and being welcomed by the atmosphere of the stadium was indescribable. The euphoria and pride were evident in the faces of all the team members.
We rounded off this event together with food and drinks in the stadium. Naturally, the team celebrated aptly with a glass or more of bubbly.
We are proud of our team’s performance. Together, we not only achieved our sporting goals but also strengthened our team spirit and shared unforgettable moments. Special thanks go to all who supported us, whether by cheering us on at the venue, providing motivating words in advance or by organising the whole event.
Our thanks also to the B2Run organisers for making this event possible and to all our colleagues who ran with us, cheered us on or supported us. We are already looking forward to the next run and are curious to find out what challenges and successes await us in the coming year.
