On 8 January 2013, CITO was successfully certified as a Known Consignor by the LBA (German Federal Aviation Office). In accordance with an EU regulation, this status allows goods to be transported by air without having to undergo certain checking procedures.

Bieling & Petsche and CITO FormLine GmbH are now formally partners. The CITO Group has joined the Austrian die manufacturer based in Grödig and Vienna as a junior partner.

The second meeting of the R&D group concerned with diemaking took place on 30 November. 29 options were considered and 7 of these resulted in firm projects, ranging from individual product improvements to completely new production processes.

Over 1500 readers voted for the CITO RSP System 2.0 as the second most innovative technology concept in the category Print Finishing.

CITO has been supporting the children at the "Erlangen Lernstube" (Play and Learn Group) on Zeissstrasse and Max-Planck-Strasse for many years now.

CITO has entered into a joint R&D agreement together with diemakers Bieling & Petsche and DieVision/Aprisys for the purpose of developing more targeted products for diemaking requirements, supported by CITO’s exceptional customer service.

CITO exhibited at FachPack in Nuremberg where they shared a stand with Austrian diemaker Bieling & Petsche. Alongside products supplied by CITO, the stand also exhibited various rotary and flatbed dies, which clearly demonstrated the benefits of CITO manufactured products in finished form.

Röthenbach was the venue for the 15th Apprenticeship Fair held on 10^th and 11^th October 2012. This year the fair again welcomed a record number of visitors. Young people keen to find out more about the companies taking part and the training places available made use of this opportunity.

On 5th and 6th September 2012, CITO-SYSTEM GmbH held an Open House day in Brussels organised together with Plantin, their successful PrintLine agency for the territory of Benelux.
