To protect the stripping and blanking tools from damage
The CITO Register Pin is used to align
- the upper stripping tool with the central stripping board
- or upper blanking tool with the lower blanking tool.
Installation
1st step
Laser-cut the upper and lower stripping board for exact positioning and alignment of the pin.
- Hole size of 12.1 mm -0/+0.1 mm
- 2 pins are required for alignment, 3 pins per tool are recommended, which are placed across the tool
2nd step
At first the lower tool is placed correctly in the machine and the position of the tool is fixed.
Then the CITO Register Pins are inserted from the operator side in at least 2 holes from the upper tool to the lower or central tool.
3rd step
The upper tool is now adjusted until the CITO Register Pins match the holes in the lower or central tool.
4th step
Now the upper tool has the correct alignment with the lower tool and will be fixed in this position.
5th step
The pins are now removed and stored outside of the machine.
